Why come to Spirit?

We have put together a programme of inspirational outstanding speakers interspersed with a range of creative, challenging and motivating workshops to refresh your practice.

There is the opportunity to debate, discuss create, network and increase your professional development so you will feel inspired to facilitate the best play for the children you work with.

This year we will be exploring play in the public realm, and the challenges/barriers to providing for playful communities.  We will also be sharing examples of good practice for all those who want to improve children's mental and physical health and well-being and help make Wales a play-friendly country.

Who should attend?

Playworkers and play professionals, people working in communities, youth and community workers, town and community councils, housing associations, community regeneration officers, and anyone with an interest in or responsibility for children's play.

Keynote speakers include: Workshops confirmed so far:
  • Street Play: Myth Busting, challenges and possibilities, Alice Ferguson, Playing Out
  • Play sufficiency through the voices of children, Mike Barclay and Jonny Neen, Wrexham CBC

Pam dod i Ysbryd?

Rydyn ni wedi llunio rhaglen o siaradwyr neilltuol a fydd yn eich ysbrydoli, ynghyd ag ystod o weithdai creadigol, heriol ac ysgogol i loywi eich ymarfer.

Bydd cyfle i ddadlau, trafod, creu, rhwydweithio a chynyddu eich datblygiad proffesiynol er mwyn eich ysbrydoli i hwyluso’r cyfleoedd chwarae gorau i’r plant rydych chi’n gweithio gyda nhw.

Eleni byddwn yn archwilio chwarae yn y fro gyhoeddus, a’r heriau / rhwystrau i ddarparu ar gyfer cymunedau chwareus. Byddwn hefyd yn rhannu esiamplau o arfer da ar gyfer pawb sydd am wella iechyd meddyliol a chorfforol plant a helpu i wneud Cymru’n wlad chwarae-gyfeillgar.

Gweithwyr chwarae a gweithwyr proffesiynol ym maes chwarae, pobl sy’n gweithio yn y gymuned, gweithwyr cymunedol a ieuenctid, cynghorau cymunedol a threfol, mudiadau tai, swyddogion adfywio cymunedau, ac unrhyw un sydd â diddordeb mewn, neu â chyfrifoldeb am chwarae plant.
